i feel like i haven't updated in centuries. this has been a rather strange semester due to the immense inconsistency that has plagued my life. the combination of snowstorms, never working, and hardly ever stepping foot on campus has created this terrible chaos in my life. one thing that has been very consistent in my life is my sweet boyfriend, Jase.

i had been looking forward to seeing him for his birthday since he left on January 11th. we met on October 14th when Ali & I went to visit Jake in Auburn and it's been extremely exciting to see how the Lord has intertwined our lives. never in a million years would I have dreamed this would be my life. but it is && i love it.

i would take you through a step by step, detailed description of my trip to see him so you could feel as if you were there every step of the way - but that's too much typing :)

we did things like this...

exchange valentine's presents.
this little note was waiting for me in his truck when he picked me up at the airport.
inside is a valentine's photo i sent him that i found from a blog (ha) and on the back he had written a sweet note and told me to look under the seat. there awaited my beautiful necklace. he is so thoughtful.

&& this. every day i was presented with a new letter, a new photo, & new loving words that made my heart smile.

he took me to the north georgia mountains. beautiful.
it made me question why I love Texas so much, but only for like two seconds of course :)
he showed me the summer camp that shaped him into the man he is today.
he told me lots of funny stories that warmed my heart.
he is passionate about kids, Jesus, & loving people well.

here we sat in his truck bed marveling at God's majesty.
talking about how far His love has taken us.
treasuring each second we have together.

then he showed me the Tallulah Gorge
pretty interesting, some crazy man named Karl Wallenda walked across the gorge on a tightrope.
...wish i would have taken better photos to document this. there was a super neat little store with a wooden deck type thing overlooking the gorge.

we like to get dressed up & eat at a fancy steakhouse with his family.

he took me walking on the prettiest day georgia has ever seen.
he believes in my passion for the 3day & fuels it.

[then we traveled to Auburn. where i did a pathetic job of taking photos & documenting his birthday]

his little heart is broken over the news about Toomer's trees.

we then traversed back across the alabama / georgia border to the airport.

he takes care of me when i don't feel well, goes above & beyond to make me feel special, welcomes me into his life in Georgia and makes me feel like i was made to be there, helps me make decisions, keeps me sane, calls me out when i'm being dramatic, makes me laugh like no one else can, talks to me about anything & everything, he waits patiently without complaining as i slowly get ready.

protected. safe. cherished.
honored. adored. loved. defended.
treasured. inspired. encouraged. uplifted. cared for.
he makes me my heart feel all those words.
